Strong Hungarian presence of Avis, the leading car rental company in Europe, is ensured by a trio of Avis Car Rental, Avis Lease and Avis Budget Group Business Support Centre, employing together nearly 700 people that excels from local representatives of other international car rental companies.

Avis Car Rental

Avis Car Rental has the longest presence among the international car rental companies in Hungary, with its establishment from 1969. The operational background is ensured by a company under new ownership called AUTO ReFAIRent Ltd from 2010. Avis Car Rental provides car rental solutions to short-, mid- and long-term rental needs of corporate and individual customers, as well as international car rental reservations and Avis charge card service. The continually renewing fleet with a range of 15 vehicle brands. On top of passenger cars, vans and 9-seaters minibuses are supplying customer mobility demand. Avis Hungary is a member of Hungarian Rent A Car Association, and has complied with the quality requirement system worked out for the service of car rental, thus it is entitled to use the title of "Excellent Qualified Service Provider" certified by Intercert Qualification and Certification Ltd.

Avis Lease

The fleet management service called Avis Lease is operated by Autóflotta Ltd, which is present in domestic fleet management market more than 10 years. Full service includes fleet financing, maintenance, tyre purchase, change and storage, 24 hours assistance service, replacement vehicle, fuel card service, insurance and claim adjustment, with own service, tyre storage and claim adjustment right.

Avis Budget Group BSC

Avis Budget Group BSC Ltd has been supporting Avis subsidiaries since January, 2004. Main business areas are financial accounting, IT, database management, collections, fleet administration and customer service. Currently employs 600 employees and supports the Group's EMEA region. During the past 9 years the BSC improved continuously, a significant milestone was obtaining the ISO 9001 certification in 2011. One of its most important objectives is now to become Group's Centre of Excellence.
